It was a good thing that our Eagles have picked the ticket to South Africa even though the way and manner we got the ticket was questionable.
Those charged with the responsibility of managing our football should think of injecting new and dependable players into the team. Unlike what was the practice during the qualifying series, no matter where the set of players come from, be they all Ibos, Ijaws, Hausas they must be given the chance to positively represent this great country.

Former First Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Football Association, NFA board, Richard Nwabufo Obienu has advised against sacking Super Eagles Chief Coach, Shaibu Amodu, saying it is too early, especially coming only a few days after he qualified Nigeria for the 2010 World Cup.
The Enugu based lawyer described as unpatriotic and unrealistic calls by Nigerians for the sacking of the man who just picked the World Cup ticket for the country in Nairobi, Kenya barely a week ago.

Former chairman of the Nigeria Football Association, NFA, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima says sacking Super Eagles Chief coach Shaibu Amodu will not take Nigerian football out of the woods.

Gabros FC proprietor, Chief Gabriel Chukwuma believes it would be a waste of fund and effort hiring a foreign coach to take Nigeria to the World Cup next year, saying past effort in the same direction had done little or no good for the Eagles.
