Uyo—WORRIED by the spate of attacks on contractors handling Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC,  projects in the region leading to the abandonment of several projects of the commission, an, NGO, Network Advancement Programme for Poverty and Disaster Risk Reduction, NAPPDRR, has warned youths in the region to desist from obstructing the development of the area.

Addressing newsmen, yesterday, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital, the group advised youths to “Allow genuine development in the region by shunning confrontational tendencies and embrace peaceful approach to issues of development of the region.”
