Embattled impeached acting national chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Vincent Okumagba has been finally expelled from the club for anti- club activities.
In a communiqué issued after its special Annual General Meeting which was attended last Friday by 19 out of the 21 chapter chairmen and secretaries of the club, it noted that the activities of the former acting national chairman has become an embarrassment not only to the club but the entire Nigerian general public, noting that all efforts made to make him retrace his anti- club activities proved aborted which necessitated his expulsion.
Acting National Public Relations Officer of the Club Hafeez Balogun, said that apart from Okumagba, others expelled by the club include, Mrs. Kemi Popoola, former social secretary, former Oyo State chapter chairman, Dauda Femi Ali, chairman of Anambra State chapter, Okwy Ezike as well as Chairman of Bayelsa chapter, Mr. Dangana

“I want to inform Nigerians that the above named former members of the club who were earlier suspended about three months ago have not shown any sign of remorse but rather have been engaging in anti- club activities”, Balogun said.
“After a careful review of their cases at the special annual general meeting, it was decided that they should be expelled from the club and any person doing business with them on behalf of the club does so at his or her own risk”, Balogun warned.
According to him, the AGM also nominated Awal Taofik as the new acting national chairman of the club while it also dissolved the former electoral committee, replacing it with a new one to be headed by Elder Ademola Bankole with the mandate to organize election within 60 days.
