Assistant coach of  the U-23 national team, Fatai Amoo is back to the labour market. The coach who returned from the just-concluded Rio Olympic Games with the bronze-winning national U-23 team has confirmed that his contract with the Nigeria Football Federation expired after the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

The former Enyimba coach was contracted the same time as head coach, Samson Siasia who announced his resignation soon after the team’s return from Rio last week.

Amoo also revealed that each member of the team’s coaching crew had a personal contract with the federation with differences in personal terms. All the contracts were obviously tied to the end of the Rio Olympics.
