General Electric, GE, has received two awards from Africa Investor, Ai, in recognition of the company’s significant contributions to Africa’s infrastructure development.

The Ai African Social Project Developer of the Year award was presented at the Ai African Infrastructure Project Developer Summit and Awards while, the Transport Deal of the Year award was presented at Ai CEO Infrastructure Investment Summit and Awards.

GE received the Ai African Social Project Developer of the Year award for its unique partnership with Shell to address healthcare issues in Nigeria.

The two multinationals have signed a memorandum of understanding for a comprehensive healthcare project to be situated in Nigeria.
