No fewer 2,000 former militants and their leaders from Warri North, Warri South-West, Burutu, Bomadi, Patani Local Government Areas and Delta Central, have mapped out plans to embark on door-to-door campaign for Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.

Speaking at the end of their meeting in Warri, the coordinator, Mr. Preye Ekpebide, said Okowa’s track record as a senator, former Secretary to Delta State Government, former Commissioner for Health, Agriculture and Water Resources, have made him stand out in terms of experience and mass empowerment, above others gunning for the governorship position.

He added that the Phase Three ex-militant leaders of each local government area of the state have been mandated to lead their members for the Okowa door-to-door campaign to all parts of the state.

Ekpebide said the group has to remind Deltans that Okowa is a man to be trusted.
