ABAKALIKI—A governorship aspirant of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in Ebonyi State, Senator Anthony Agbo, has boasted that APGA would win Ebonyi in the 2015 general election.
At a briefing, the senator who claimed the forthcoming election would bring about lots of surprises noted that the government sponsored candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the forthcoming election would be defeated against all odds.
Agbo also explained that he left the PDP because the present leadership of the party in the state was discharging its duties contrary to the norms, values, principles and philosophies of the constitution of the party.
He said, “I wish to declare to Ebonyi people today as an existential imperative, that APGA shall capture the governorship seat of Ebonyi State in 2015 elections, and through it, we shall remove pain, tears, poverty, hopelessness and disillusion. APGA captures the true essence of the Igbo classical philosophy of love, care and development of your neighbour and neighbourhood through tireless industry, selflessness and unbending patriotism, which also constitute the key to the greatness of the Nigerian State.”
