Eyes would be on a PDP rally holding today in Ifaki Ekiti. The party aiming to  prove that it has no pains about the defection of the immediate past governor of the state, Engr. Segun Oni from the party to the APC, the PDP campaign is planning to hold a rally in his hometown.

Speaking with the newsmen at Ikole Ekiti, Fayose said the motive behind the mega rally is to tell the whole world that Oni has lost his relevance politically in his home base

“In that rally, Oni’s foot-soldiers like Senator Ayo Arise, Dayo Adeyeye, Dipo Anisulowo, Bisi Kolawole and many others will be there. We want to prove to him that he is a general without soldiers. We want to celebrate his departure from our party right in his hometown”, Fayose said.

Expressing his love for the people of Ikole Ekiti, Fayose pledged that he would return the Agricultural Development Programme that had been relocated to Isan Ekiti,Fayemi’s hometown to boost agriculture in the zone and provide employment for the teeming jobless graduates.

He also promised that he would reposition the education sector, particularly the tertiary cadre and make it affordable to all indigenes of the State when elected.
