Fayemi, Ondo gov to speak at Agagu’s Tribute Day

EkitiState Governor Kayode Fayemi and his OndoState counterpart, Olusegun Mimiko, will today, speak at a day of tributes for the late former Ondo State Governor Olusegun Agagu.

The ‘Tributes Day,’ according to Mr. Yemi Olowolabi, the late Agagu’s former Chief Press Secretary, will hold at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, the OyoState capital.

The statement said the event would start at 11a.m.

The body of the late politician will leave Lagos on October 3 for Akure.

Lying-in-state will hold same day at the DemocracyPark, Akure.

There will be another lying-in-state and wake-keep at the Civic Centre, Iju-Odo, Okitipupa Local Government.

A burial service will hold Friday, October 4, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Iju-Odo, also in Okitipupa Local Government by 11a.m.

His body will thereafter be interred beside that of his father in Okitipupa.”
