Hartland says 41 projects completed, no abandoned job

By John Alechenu

ABUJA — Indigenous construction company, Hartland Nigeria Limited, says it has executed 41 major infrastructure projects across the country and has no record of abandoning any project entrusted to it.

The company, in a statement issued by its management in Abuja on Sunday, said it currently has more than 1,700 direct employees, in addition to workers engaged through contractual arrangements.

Hartland, which began operations as Hartland Enterprises, said its projects span roads, bridges and other civil infrastructure, with its clients including federal and state governments, international organisations and private companies.

The company attributed its growth to investment in manpower, equipment and systems required to execute major construction projects.

“In Nigerian construction, reputation is not claimed. It is built,” the company said.

“Each of those 41 projects represents more than concrete and asphalt. It represents a responsibility accepted. A contract executed. A commitment honoured.”

Hartland said it had never abandoned a project entrusted to it, adding that it engaged clients and other partners to resolve contractual or financial challenges whenever they arose.

“We value the confidence and cooperation of those we work with and remain committed to the timely progress and completion of all our ongoing projects,” the management said.

The company said its operations were guided by four principles: excellence in execution, integrity in every dealing, innovation in approach, and respect for clients and host communities.

It added that its projects were aimed at improving connectivity, facilitating commerce and supporting economic activity.

On its ongoing projects, Hartland said it remained committed to delivering them in accordance with agreed specifications, timelines and contractual standards.

“We remain committed to our clients. We remain committed to the communities our projects serve. We remain committed to building the infrastructure that powers Nigeria’s growth,” the company said.
