NCDMB begins two-week fire alarm, access control training for Lagos youths

IKEJA, Lagos State — The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has commenced a two-week training programme in fire alarm and access control technology for 50 youths in Ikeja, Lagos State.

The programme, being implemented in collaboration with Bellazir Limited, began on June 29 and will run until July 10, 2026.

The intensive training is designed to equip participants with practical and technical skills in the installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of modern fire alarm systems and access control solutions.

The 50 participants, drawn from Lagos and its environs, are expected to receive certificates at the end of the programme, enhancing their prospects for employment in facilities management, construction and security technology firms.
