In an era where attention spans are increasingly short, Majeeed’s new EP, Cheers to Life, makes a strong and colourful impression from the very first listen.

The six-track project arrives as a vibrant celebration of life, resilience, and gratitude. Blending Afrobeats, Amapiano, and Dancehall influences, the EP creates a rich, feel-good soundscape that encourages movement while maintaining emotional depth.

Standout tracks include “Gbese” featuring Tiwa Savage, which pulses with infectious energy, and “Girls Deserve More Money,” a playful Dancehall-infused tune. “Slip & Slide” with Rotimi offers a smooth, sensual slowdown, while “Waka Jeje” featuring BNXN delivers a reflective moment on fame and the desire for peace.

Production-wise, Majeeed opts for laid-back grooves, clean percussion, and soft R&B textures rather than chasing explosive hits. This creates a consistent, cohesive mood throughout the project, though it occasionally makes some tracks blend into one another.

Majeeed’s smooth, confident vocals shine across the EP. His relaxed delivery perfectly complements the production, allowing the songs to unfold naturally. Lyrically, he keeps things straightforward and sincere, focusing on themes of appreciation, personal growth, love, and resilience.
