AISA to host Joshua Olusanya’s music empowerment tour grand finale

The American International School of Abuja (AISA) will host the grand finale of the highly acclaimed Joshua Olusanya Music Empowerment Tour on Friday, February 27, 2026, in the school’s Multipurpose Hall.

Joshua Olusanya, known globally as the Trumpet Influencer and celebrated as the Guinness World Record holder for the longest marathon trumpet playing, will bring his tour to a powerful close on the AISA campus—an institution where his journey of musical Influence, advocacy and youth empowerment first began.

“Hosting Joshua Olusanya’s grand finale is both an honor and a homecoming”, AISA said in a statement.

“His story of perseverance, discipline, and excellence mirrors the values we strive to instill in our students. To welcome him back to the place where his influence first took root is a moment of pride for our entire community.”

The Music Empowerment Tour, which began in Lagos and has traveled to schools across Nigeria, has inspired thousands of young people through live performances, workshops, Inspiration and mentorship. The grand finale at AISA will feature a dynamic concert of the Trumpet Influencer band, and interactive session with students, offering them a chance to learn directly from one of the world’s most inspiring musicians.

“This collaboration with AISA is deeply personal,” said Joshua Olusanya. “It’s where my passion for music, Influence and advocacy was nurtured, and to return as the Trumpet Influencer to empower the next generation here feels like a full-circle moment. I’m excited to share this celebration of music, resilience, and education with the students and faculty.”

The event will be open to AISA students, faculty, and invited guests, with media coverage expected from national and international outlets.
