Following rampant cases of robbery, killings and the activities of cultists in Ovwian community, Udu Local Government Area, Delta State, the community has stated its readiness to take drastic measures against the vices.

Addressing a mammoth crowd at the community town hall yesterday, President General of Ovwian community, Comrade William Saiki, stated that the action was because of high rate of rape, robbery, killings and other anti-social activities in the community believed to be orchestrated by cultists.

He explained that some weeks ago, one Mr. Erite was  murdered by cultists, adding that the most annoying part of it was that the cultists’  continued terrorizing the community.
