Delta State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori has appointed Frank Mughele as a Senior Special Assistant on political matters.

Mughele who is from Udu local government played a pivotal mobilisation role in the run up to PDP’s victory at the 2023 governorship election in the state.

The letter signed by Secretary to State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu said the appointment takes effect from February 12, 2025.

It reads, “I am pleased to convey to you, your appointment as Senior Special Assistant (Political) to His Excellency, the Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborewori, with effect from 12th February, 2025.

“Your appointment is at the instance and pleasure of His Excellency, the Governor. Please accept our hearty congratulations and best wishes.”
