The South East Youth Stakeholders Forum has commended the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu for Championing Sustainable Development in the South East region.

The Youths said that Kalu has always shown support and partnership in developmental projects meant for any part of the south east region, adding that he has maintained unwavering commitment to the sustainable development of the region.

Speaking to the newsmen after the flag-off of Abia Airport project, leader of the youth group, Mazi (Dr.) Ezenwa A A Onyirimba expressed the group’s recognition and applaud for Hon. Kalu’s pivotal role in advancing the transformative initiative.

“The proposed airport stands as a testament to his dedication to fostering economic growth, creating employment opportunities, and enhancing connectivity within and beyond our region,” said Onyirimba.

He stated that Hon. Kalu’s leadership continues to inspire confidence in the youths and stakeholders across the South East, as he remains steadfast in advocating for policies and projects that contribute to the region’s progress.

“His proactive involvement in driving infrastructural and socio-economic initiatives demonstrates his vision for a prosperous and united South East.

“The South East Youth Stakeholders Forum reiterates its support for Hon. Kalu and his efforts to ensure that the aspirations of our people for sustainable development become a reality. We urge all stakeholders to unite in fostering the successful execution of the Abia Airport project and other developmental initiatives.

“Once again, we commend Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu for his remarkable contributions and assure him of our continued solidarity as he champions the cause of progress for our beloved region,” Onyirimba commended.
