Lagos – Former Green Eagles coach, Paul Hamilton, on Tuesday in Lagos commended the Super Eagles’ 2-0 victory over the Chipolopolo of Zambia in an international friendly in Kaduna.

“The boys have not arrived yet; it is a gradual process. Two matches– one draw and one win– are not bad results,’’ Hamilton said shortly after the match.

He said that, in spite of the victory, the boys should brace up for tasks ahead.

According to him, the pep talk in the dressing room at the interval might have been the magic for the victory, because the Eagles were not impressive during the first half.

The coach praised the numerous changes made by Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, saying that would afford him the opportunity to access his players.

He then urged the team to continue to be committed in the national team’s future matches, but however, observed that managing two top-grade matches in a space of four days should be commended.

He, however, rated the Eagles/Zebras goaless match in Benin higher, saying: “The Eagles were more enterprising in that match, compared to Tuesday’s outing in Kaduna. But it was unfortunate that we did not score in that match.

Dayo Desayo, a business centre clerk, said the performance of Eagles at the match were not fully prepared for the match.
