A governorship aspirantin Adamawa state on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (name withheld) in the 2011 election now rescheduled for 2012 has been trapped in an alleged sex scandal.
The aspirant, according to investigation, allegedly lodged in one of the 3- star hotels located opposite the police barracks in the state capital with his estranged lady.
But little did he know that his wife got wind of the amorous act and swooped on the husband and the said mistress. In the ensuing confusion, the angry wife reportedly attacked the husband and physically assaulted him. The unfortunate incident attracted the attention of other guests in the hotel, who later pacified the couple to return home to settle their problem.
Contacted on his mobile phone, the aspirant confirmed that the incident actually occurred. However, he was quick to add that the lady in question was his sister, whom he had lodged at the hotel because the wife refused to accommodate her in their house.
According to him, it was when he took food to the said sister that the wife traced him to the hotel room thereby causing them embarrassment.
The management of the hotel also confirmed that the gubernatorial aspirant actually brought gusts to the hotel on the fateful day, but that they were not aware of any scuffle between the aspirant and any other person.
The manager of the hotel, who spoke to journalists on condition of anonymity equally, confirmed that security operatives called in the hotel to ascertain the nature of quests brought in by the gubernatorial aspirant.
