Uduaghan orders special clean-up of Delta communities

ASABA- DELTA State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has ordered the Delta State Special Task Force on Sanitation to immediately carry out unique clean-up exercise in different parts of the state to promote healthy living among the people.

He gave the directive to the chairman of the task force, Comrade Olori Magege in a meeting at his office in Asaba.

Olori Magege, who had received praises from Deltans for his dynamism so far, told newsmen, Monday, that the task force had mapped out its operations and would commence special clean up exercise in eight towns in the state, among them, Agbarho, Ughelli, Oleh, Oghara, DSC township/Orhuworun, Ozoro, Sapele, Ogbeogono and Cable Point markets, Asaba.

Already, the Effurun market on the Petroleum Training Institute, PTI, Road, Effurun is wearing a new look as a result of the operation of the new task force and Magege, who assured that he would not rest on his oars, called on heads of personnel management in the affected local governments to mobilize their health officers and the local communities to participate in the unique sanitation exercise.
