LAGOS – SMARTING from their judicial and political victory over Governor Gbenga Daniels’ faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, former President Olusegun Obasanjo and other party leaders will storm Lagos today to raise funds for Ogun PDP’s guber candidate, Chief Adetunji Idowu Olurin.
Obasanjo will be the special guest of honour at the event holding at Eko Hotel, Lagos.

Alhaji Lai Labode, chairman, Media and Publicity Committee (Ogun State PDP Campaign Organisation), said the event would serve as a rallying point for well-wishers and stakeholders, who had watched with keen interest the political developments that culminated in the verdict of Justice Abdul Kafarati on March 3, 2011 that revalidated Olurin as the PDP authentic governorship candidate in Ogun State.
