The collation of the results of the governorship election held in Akwa Ibom State is currently going on at the Independent National Electoral Commission state collation centre, Udo Udoma Avenue Uyo with results from all but one of the 31 Local Government Areas being declared.

Governor Emmanuel has won in all the Local Government Areas so far declared. The only result outstanding is that of Essein Udim Local Government Area which is the Local Government Area of the immediate past governor of the state, Senator Godswill Akpabio.

Udom Emmanuel

In Ibeno Local Government Area, Obong Nsima Ekere of the All Progressives Congress, APC, scored a total 1, 442, votes while Emmanuel polled a total of ,10, 008 to defeat the APC candidate.

In Urueoffong/Oruko Local government area, Emmanuel of the PDP scored 6,915 while Ekere of the APC scored 4, 592.

In Nsit Ubium Loca government area Udom Emmanuel of the PDP polled a total of 17, 863 votes to defeat Ekere who polled a total of 6,004.

In Okobo Loca government area, the PDP polled 10, 800 votes while APc polled a total of 6,079.

In Esit Eket local government area Emmanuel of the PDP polled a total of 13,290 votes while Nsima Ekere of the APC scored a total of 3,917.

Expectedly Emmanuel won landslide in his own Local Onna Local Government Area. He polled a total of 32,103 out of 34668 votes cast, while Ekere scored 2,110 votes.

In Ikot Abasi local government area where Ekere hails from, Udom Emmanuel had a narrow win with a total of 9335 votes out of 17,439 votes cast while Ekere polled a total of 7549.

In Obot Akara LG, Udom Emmanuel polled total of 13, 979 votes out of 19,126 votes cast while Ekere polled a total of 4,704 votes.

In Uyo Local government area Emmanuel also won with a total vote of 35,092 out of 49,390 votes cast while Ekere of APC scored a total of 12, 549 votes.

In Abak local government area, Emmanuel also won with a total of 17,461 votes out of 29,852 votes cast, however, Nsima Ekere scored a total of 11, 505 votes.

Also in Nsit Atai local government area, Emmanuel of the PDP, defeated his visible rival Ekere of the APC, with a score of 8,855 out of 12,838 total votes cast while Ekere scored 3,783 votes.

Similarly in Uruan Local government area the PDP candidate, Emmanuel scored a total of 12, 895 votes out of 18,583 votes cast to defeat Ekere who scored a total of 5,192 votes.

According to the result from Ini Local government area, Emmanuel won with a wide margin of 17, 335 votes out of 21,035 votes cast. Ekere however scored a total of 3,316 votes.

In Nsit Ibom local government area, Emmanuel scored a total of 17,326 votes to win Obong Nsima Ekere of the APC, who scored a total of 4,816 votes out of 22, 749 votes cast.

In the same vein, Governor Emmanuel of the PDP won with a total of 9,631 votes in Mbo Local government area while Ekere scored a total of 5,419 votes out of 16,076. The total valid votes we’re 15, 218 while 858 votes we’re rejected.

For Eket local government area, Emmanuel of the PDP also won with a total of 26, 372 out of 33,031 votes cast, while Ekere scored a total of 5,087 votes

Also in Oruk Anam local government area, Governor Emmanuel of the PDP polled a total of 35,093 votes out of 44,633 votes cast to win Ekere who got 8,640 votes.

For Itu local government area, the PDP candidate Emmanuel polled a total of 14,633 votes while Obong Ekere of the APC, polled a total of 5,911 votes.

Governor Emmanuel scored a total of 35,447 votes out of 43, 604 votes cast to win Ekere who polled a total of 7,227 votes.

Also in Etinan Local government area Emmanuel of PDP polled a total of 22, 954 out of 29,825 total votes cast to win Nsima Ekere who scored 6,089 votes.

Again in Ibesikpo Asutan, Emmanuel polled a total of 15,679 out of 23,700 total votes cast while Ekere scored 7,179 votes.

For Udung Uko local government area, Emmanuel won with a total of 4,036 votes out of 6,378 votes cast, while Ekere got 2,108 votes.

Also in Oron local government area Emmanuel scored a total of 8,433 while Ekere scored 3,859 votes out of 12, 722 votes cast.

In Ibiono Ibom local government area, Emmanuel of PDP polled a total of 36,988 votes out of 45,672 votes cast. However Nsima Ekere of the APC scored a total of 7,820 votes.

In Ikot Ekpene local government area PDP candidate, Mr Udom Emmanuel got 14,832 votes to win Ekere who got 11, 240 out of 26,880 votes cast.

Also in Mkpat Enin LG governor Emmanuel won with a total of 18,056 out of 23,430 votes cast while Nsima Ekere of APC got a total of ,4,769 votes.

Again in Etim Ekpo local government area, governor Emmanuel got a total of 10, 149 out of 13, 277 total votes cast to win Nsima Ekere of the APC who polled a total of 2, 776 votes.

In Eastern Obolo governor Emmanuel of PDP won with a total of 10, 780 out of 12, 996 votes cast while Nsima Ekere of the APC scored a total of 1,914 votes.

Similarly for Ikono local government area, governor Emmanuel polled a total of APC governorship candidate Ekere scored 4,498 while Udom Emmanuel of the PDP won with a total of 18,910 votes out of a total of 24, 094 cast.

For Ika local government area, Governor Emmanuel polled a total of 12,752 votes out of 16,702 votes cast to win his closes Challenger and rival, Nsima Ekere if the APC who scored a total of 3212 votes

The only awaiting result is Eesien Udim
