THE National Chairman of Accord, Muhammad Nalado, says Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs remains the party’s governorship candidate for Saturday’s governorship election in Rivers State.

Nalado insisted that, in spite of last Thursday’s judgement of the Federal High Court, sitting in Port-Harcourt, that Mr Precious Barido was the party’s candidate,the party would not recognise him as such.

Addressing a media conference in Abuja, on Friday, following the court’s judgement, the party boss. also  accused Governor Nyesom Wike of being behind the court judgement with a view to destabilizing the party ahead of the election.

He hinted that Accord had concluded arrangements to appeal the court’s judgement, saying the party would not give Barido its ticket to contest election given that he did not at any point buy its nomination form to contest governorship in Rivers.
