Few hours after the National  Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress suspended the Ogun state governor ,Ibikunle Amosun and others , the state chapter of APC has recommended expulsion for the governor .

The state chapter in a statement issued by the  Publicity Secretary of caretaker committee of the party in the state, Tunde  Oladunjoye  said the suspension was in order

The party in the state said ,”The APC in Ogun state receives wholeheartedly the decision of NWC to suspend governor Ibikunle Amosun.

“We see the NWC decision as long overdue , as governor Amosun’s action represents huge and unbelievable demonstration of  ingratitude to a party that has helped his political fortune in spite of his disloyalty .

“We are also calling on the NEC of the party to  go ahead and expel  him from the party to teach him  a lesson and  serve as deterrent to other people  who may want to follow his inglorious path”.
