A training and recruitment services firm, 1st CRT Management Service, has partnered with the Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment to train 500 youths of the State on Mindset Re-Orientation and Employability skills in an effort to reduce the rate of unemployment among young people in the state.

Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurs Programme
In a statement by the Chief Executive Officer, 1st CRT Management, Mrs. Folayemi Olaitan, she said the training would also equip the youths with the right skills to secure sustainable jobs, start a new business and provide competitive services. “The programme is about advocating and encouraging youths to consider technical and vocational skills training so as to enhance their leadership and employability skills. At the end of this programme, selected participants will be placed on a five-month paid internship with organisations. This will afford them the chance to gain both work experience and on-the-job skills, leading to permanent employment or starting a new business.”
She also explained that the collaboration with the state government was aimed at enabling the youths to reach their potential by re-orientating their mindset on the realities of life and the labour market .
The training which is in two phases is scheduled to take place on the 10th of July at Lagos NUT Pavilion, NERDC Road CBD, Alausa Ikeja Lagos and 12th to 14th July, 2018, at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja Lagos.
