Brandleep Limited and its founder, Mr Oluwafolajimi David Oluwole, emerged among the major winners at the 14th EDGE Awards held on September 25, 2026, in Lagos.
Brandleep was named Edge Outstanding Young OOH Agency of the Year, while Oluwole received the Edge Outstanding OOH Technology Personality of the Year award.
The company described the recognition as a milestone for its team, with Oluwole congratulating members of staff following the ceremony.
Account and Media Sales Manager, Olubusayo Odelana, also celebrated the achievement, describing it as another milestone for the company.
Brandleep said its recognition reflected its efforts to use technology to drive growth and reduce barriers to entry for small and medium-sized businesses in the Out-of-Home, OOH, advertising industry.
Oluwole’s professional journey into the outdoor advertising industry was preceded by an academic and professional background spanning statistics, computer science, digital marketing and brand management.
He graduated with a Second-Class Upper degree in Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Benin and later obtained an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from Atlantic International University.
Oluwole is also a Certified Digital Marketing Professional of the Digital Marketing Institute of Ireland, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, an Associate Member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria, ARCON, and a Full Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.
His professional development has also included Google and Meta certifications, Brand Management Academy training and previous roles at OrangeOne, ROI Digital, formerly Wild Fusion, and Greenwich Merchant Bank.
Drawing from his experience in digital sales and brand management, Oluwole has consistently advocated the integration of data and creativity in outdoor advertising.
“What makes us different is our ability to combine creativity with data-driven insights. We’re not just putting up ads; we’re ensuring they connect, engage, and leave a lasting impression,” he said in an earlier interview.
He has also advocated customised media strategies rather than standardised approaches, arguing that brands have different objectives and challenges.
“We understand that every brand has its unique challenges and goals, so we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, we tailor our services to meet the specific needs of each client,” he added.
Industry practitioner Onwuazo Markanthony, while congratulating the company, said he had followed Brandleep’s approach to OOH advertising with interest.
“Huge congratulations to the entire team on this milestone award. I’ve been a huge admirer of your fresh approach to OOH media for a while now,” he said.
Oluwole said the company’s focus would remain on innovation and delivering solutions tailored to the needs of its clients.
“We don’t just want to meet expectations; we want to exceed them. Our promise to our clients is that we will always strive to be ahead of the curve, providing solutions that are as unique as the brands we represent,” he said.
The EDGE recognition places Brandleep and Oluwole among industry players seeking to expand the use of technology and data in Nigeria’s OOH advertising sector.
