High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, has empowered 80 Nigerians with business grants totaling ₦800 million, a move hailed as a boost for entrepreneurship and economic growth.
The ceremony, held at the MBB Event Center along Refinery Road in Uvwie, Delta State, saw each beneficiary receive ₦10 million to expand their businesses.
Former Warri South LGA Chairman and APC Chieftain, Dr. Michael Tidi, commended the initiative, describing it as “a remarkable demonstration of leadership and commitment to economic empowerment.”
Dr. Tidi highlighted the broader economic significance, noting that the grant reflects Keynesian and development economics principles by injecting capital into the local economy, stimulating business activity, creating jobs, and promoting sustainable entrepreneurship. He urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds and called on other corporate leaders to emulate such impactful initiatives.
