A former commissioner, Hon. Niran Sule-Akinsuyi, has expressed confidence that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the upcoming Ondo State governorship election, will emerge victorious.

In a statement issued in Akure, the state capital, Akinsuyi praised Aiyedatiwa for his compassionate leadership and outlined several reasons why the people of Ondo State will support him at the polls.

“The people of Ondo State will reciprocate Governor Aiyedatiwa’s exceptional compassion for pensioners, civil servants, children, and the elderly with their votes and support during the election,” Akinsuyi stated.

He highlighted Aiyedatiwa’s swift and impactful leadership since assuming office, noting his efforts to continue the work of his predecessor, former Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

“Within a short time as Governor, he has proven himself to be a compassionate and dedicated leader determined to continue the work of our brother and former Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,” Akinsuyi said.

Reflecting on Aiyedatiwa’s governance style, Akinsuyi emphasized the Governor’s commitment to improving the lives of Ondo State residents, particularly the most vulnerable segments of society.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa’s approach to governance reflects a deep commitment to improving the lives of the people of Ondo State. His leadership style and actions have consistently prioritized the well-being and dignity of the most vulnerable,” Akinsuyi noted.

Akinsuyi further asserted that Aiyedatiwa’s anticipated victory would be a “renewed invitation to serve” and positively impact the state, stressing that Ondo needs a leader with a clear and unwavering commitment to its people.

“In Governor Aiyedatiwa, we have an advocate for those who have been overlooked and underserved in our state. His leadership stands to benefit the people of our Sunshine State immensely,” he added.

Akinsuyi concluded that, given Aiyedatiwa’s understanding of the state’s challenges and his dedication to tackling them, the Governor’s re-election is the best path forward for the people of Ondo State.
