— Donates N50m to support aspiration

The Old Students Association of Ultimate International High School, Ode-Aye, Ondo State, has formally endorsed Hon. Bidemi Joshua Obayangban, for the House of Representatives seat for Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Their endorsement was contained in a letter dated April 25, 2026, and addressed to Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

The letter said “We, the registered members of the Old Students Association of Ultimate International High School, Ode Aye, Ondo State, write with one voice and in unanimous resolution to formally endorse the political aspiration of our distinguished alumnus, Hon. Bidemi Joshua Obayangban, popularly known as OC General, for the House of Representatives ticket representing the good people of Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general election.

They described Obayangban as a man of “uncommon virtue, empathy and leadership,” noting that his character had remained a source of inspiration to many who knew him during his time in school.

“From his formative years within the walls of our alma mater, Hon. Obayangban distinguished himself as a young man of uncommon virtue, empathy, and leadership.

“¹He was not merely a student, he was a community builder in the truest sense, extending kindness to classmates, juniors and hostel mates in need and leading by example in ways that left lasting impressions on all who knew him,” the letter stated.

The old students said Obayangban had consistently demonstrated commitment to community development and service to humanity, qualities they said make him suitable to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.

They expressed confidence that his emergence would bring quality representation to Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency and urged stakeholders in the APC to support his aspiration.

The endorsement adds to growing political momentum around Obayangban’s 2027 ambition, coming days after he received backing from leaders, the monarch, and stakeholders in Ode-Aye community.

“We seize this opportunity to commend Your Excellency for the
transformative strides your administration has recorded in healthcare, power infrastructure, road development across, poverty alleviation, and youth participation in politics in Ondo State.

“The EASE Agenda has
brought measurable improvement to the lives of our people, and we are
grateful for your visionary and purposeful leadership.

“We believe that our endorsement of Hon. Obayangban is entirely consistent with the spirit of your agenda – one that values grassroots leadership,
community development, and youth empowerment.

“As a demonstration of our solidarity with his aspiration and our belief in
his potential, the Old Students Association of Ultimate International High School has resolved to make a collective donation of Fifty Million Naira ($50,000,000) toward the cost of his Expression of Interest form for the APC primary election.

“This contribution reflects not merely financial support, but our collective faith in his candidacy and our desire to see a son of our association rise to serve at the national level.

“Your Excellency, we respectfully solicit your kind consideration, goodwill, and support for the aspiration of Hon. Bidemi Joshua Obayangban.

“We trust that this letter, endorsed by signatories across our alumni body,
stands as credible testimony to his character, capacity, and the collective will of his fellow old students.

“We pray that God Almighty continues to grant you good health, wisdom, and strength to lead Ondo State now, in 2027, and in the years beyond”, the statement said.
