The Ogun State government has announced the death of Hon. Tajudeen Egunjobi, the Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Housing. Egunjobi passed away on Tuesday after a brief illness.

Governor Abiodun, while visiting the family, expressed deep sorrow at the loss, describing Egunjobi as a humble, reliable, and diligent member of his team. He called the death a “rude shock” and a painful loss to the administration.

“He was a very humble, hardworking, conscientious, dependable, and reliable special adviser to this government. His loyalty and dedication to his duties were exceptional,” Governor Abiodun said. “Besides being an architect, he was a consummate politician and a former member of the Ogun State House of Assembly.”

The governor praised Egunjobi’s contributions to the housing sector, noting that his administration’s achievements in the sector would not be complete without acknowledging his efforts. Egunjobi’s impact, according to Abiodun, will continue to be recognized and remembered.

The State Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Jagunmolu Jamiu Omoniyi, also paid tribute, calling Egunjobi a loyal and dutiful politician who played a pivotal role in the success of the state’s housing sector.

In a statement on behalf of the family, Noah Tajudeen expressed gratitude to the state government for its support and wished the governor success in his future endeavors.
