Terrorists kidnap Ango Abdullahi’s relations

Terrorists have abducted the daughter-in-law of the Chairman of the Northern Elders’ Forum( NEF),Prof. Ango Abdullahi.

This is coming barely a month after  his son, Sadiq,  was released from captivity by terrorists who attacked the Abuja-Kaduna train.

Professor Ango told journalists on Wednesday that his daughter in law was abducted together with four of her children.

“My daughter-in-law, Ramatu Samaila, was among the abductees including her four children. She is the wife of my son-in-law who is the village head of Yakawada,” he said.

Locals said  the bandits invaded Yakawada village in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna on Tuesday night and immediately stormed the residence of Alhaji Rilwanu Saidu, the village head.

“After abducting the village head’s immediate family members, they also kidnapped some victims at the residence of the Village head’s neighbour.”

“They also went to the resident of the neighbour to the village head and kidnapped Abubakar Mijinyawa along with his two wives,  Aisha and Hajara. The  wives are  nursing mothers and were abducted with their little babies.”

“The bandits killed one patrol guard, Aminu Lawal during the attack.

Three people, who sustained injuries in the attack, are receiving treatment at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria.”
