After many Nigerians have spoken against RUGA proposed by the Federal government to help tackle herdsmen and farmers clash, the federal government has on Wednesday, suspended Ruga settlements plan.

Vanguard had reported a meeting held behind closed doors by vice president Yemi Osinbajo and all the representatives of Governors from six geo-political zones in the country at the state house on Wednesday.

The report clearly stated that the meeting would not be unconnected to the controversy surrounding the plan by the Federal Government to establish Ruga settlements for the Fulanis.
