II Timothy 3:1-3 says: “This know also, that in the last days perilous tim-es shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, diso-bedient to parents, unth-ankful, unholy, Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despi-sers of those that are good.”
My beloved heavenly candidates, it has become necessary to lay bare for you some of the things that will happen at the end of time in order to forewarn you to take heed and be on guard lest you also will be found to have same feelings of rebellion and unrighteousness like others. You will not be found to manifest such feelings as can exclude you from the heaven.
I want you to understand that as you travel through the barren wilderness of this world, inhabited by foes, and are exposed to trials and temptations, you should be mindful of the fact that you are a can-didate of heaven and that unrighteousness in you will certainly mar your journey to heaven.
I want to tell you that very shortly the trumpet shall sound and the saints shall go on rapture and the question is how ready you are? Are you prepared, if it is to happen now will you be there, are you sure you are saved. I Corinthian 15:51-52: “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a mom-ent, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be rais-ed incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
The above context captur-es the event of the last days which is the next agenda in God’s diary. At the app-ointed time the living who met the standard required in the heavenly race as well as the dead that are qualified as heavenly can-didates shall be transfor-med for onward journey to heaven. Take note, there will be no alert or any other form of notice when this event will take place.
It shall be like a flash in a second, and the whole thi-ng will be over. If you are a heavenly candid-ate and not yet pr-epared for the tru-mpet then I am afraid you may miss it and if that becomes the case it therefore means that all strenuous efforts made so far to be in heaven sh-all be in vain.
Luke 13:3-5 says, “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or tho-se eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners ab-ove all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
Your claim of being a heav-enly candidate cannot earn you access to the gate of heaven. Admission into heaven is only by repent-ance, accepting Jesus Chr-ist as your Lord and Sav-iour and maintaining a holy lifestyle.
All must repent or perish. So, examine your life for many who claim to be be-lievers, havein their lives contention, strife, unforgi-veness, hatred, bribery. This class of people do not know that God is holy and without holiness no eyes shall see the Lord. They are ignorant of the fact that one must follow peace with all men if he desires to make heaven at last. As heavenly candidates, you must not lie, fornicate, ste-al, backbite, defraud, goss-ip and must ever be ready to preach the gospel.
