PRP candidate cautions against money influence

Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, candidate Dr. Stephen Mbah has warned against the use cash and other gratifications to get votes from the electorate, urging the Anambra voters to collect the money from the politicians and vote their choice candidates.

Dr Mbah in an interview with Vanguard urged the public to understand the antics of some politicians who are desperate to win an election no matter what it would cost them, and teach them the lesson that money cannot buy their conscience .

“Money politics has been responsible for under development since public office holders who bribed their ways to power will definitely be busy recouping their campaign expenditure before thinking about what to do for the masses, who will suffer the consequence of their selfishness.

“The electorate should not allow any form of gratification to impair their sense of judgment and reasoning or make them vote against their conscience, the moment money politics is removed in the nation’s political system, the issue of corruption will be a thing of the past.”
