Super Eagles new call-up Anthony Nwakeme has declared his readiness to give 101% performance to ensure that Nigeria beat Cameroon in a 2018 World Cup qualifier on Friday.
The 28-year-old Hapoel Be’er Sheva forward, who has four goals to his name in the Champions League qualification stage for his club, is expected to make his debut on Friday.
“I am very happy to be here” he declared.
“The players and coaching staff have been nice to me. I am looking forward to the game against Cameroon.
“I don’t know if am starting but if I don’t, I will give my 100% support to who ever the coach picks. What is most important is for us to get the three points.”
Anthony Nwakeme has scored 33 goals in 91 appearances for Israeli champions Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
