Could it be handwriting on the wall or just mere coincidence?   But whatever the reason may be for the fire it appears the  Ilesha, Osun state-born, Hajia Titilayo Atiku Abubakar, the most prominent wife of the ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, and chairperson of Women Trafficking and Child Labour Eradication has made a heroic return to the social radar after what seemed to be a long lull.

Titi Atiku Abubakar

The ageless Titilayo Abubakar, known for her indefatigable role as an anti-human trafficking crusader, was spotted elegantly dressed at the third edition of the Most Valuable Governors’ Wives Award, MVGWA, held in Abuja recently.

With her domineering presence and elegance at the event, some have already begun to whisper that the regal lady is making a calculated appearance to add  some  verve to her husband’s  unfolding presidential ambition, which seems to be  strategically taking positive shape, with arrays of courtesy and  solidarity visits to key regional decision makers and stakeholders in the political terrain.

The eight governors’ wives who were honoured with the prestigious MVGWA awards were wives of Bauchi State Governor, Hajia Hadiza Abubakar; Bayelsa State, Rachael Dickson; Kebbi State, Dr. Zainab Bagudu; Nasarawa State, Hajia Mairo Al-Makura; Niger State, Dr. Amina Bello; Lagos State, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode; Anambra State, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano and Oyo state, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, respectively.

The former Second Lady, Titi Atiku Abubakar will definitely add peps and spices to her husband’s unfettered ambition when the stakes become higher, given her social standing and connections across all the geo-political zones.
