ASABA—GOVERNOR Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has congratulated the oldest reigning king in the state, HRM, Royal Canon, Ovie Richard Layeguen Ogbon Ogoni-Oghoro I, the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom, on his centenary birthday which comes up tomorrow, and the 29th anniversary of his coronation to the ancient throne of his forefathers.

Okowa, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Aniagwu, described the monarch as a man blessed by God to have attained 100 years on earth and still looking strong and healthy.

He prayed that the legacy of peace, harmony, prosperity and steadfast progress which the Olomu Kingdom has witnessed since the monarch’s reign would endure perpetually.

The Governor also prayed to God to continue to bless the monarch with robust health and many more years of fulfilment.
