The centre, which received 60 desktop computers, video conferencing facilities, as well as solar panels fitted to provide uninterrupted power supply, was made available by  Huawei Nigeria in pursuance of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

Lauding the donation, Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Lagos State, Mr Obafela Bank-Olemoh said; “On behalf of Lagos State Government I thank Huawei. They are one of our key partners in education and what we are seeing here really excites us. As a state we know the future of Lagos is technology, because of that, we are committed to ensure we prepare for that future and this investment by Huawei is a step in the right direction.

“As you well know, last month we commissioned a project called Code Lagos where we plan to train one million Lagosians on how to code in the next three years.
