Recession: Edmark to boost infrastructural development

In a bid to support the Federal Government initiative to revive the country’s infrastructure, Edmark City Development Company Ltd. ECDC, under Edmark Group of Companies’, have reiterated its commitment to boost infrastructure development, as well as generating revenues for the economy.

The company made this pledge at its recent launch of the iconic structure in Aromire, targeted to be completed by the end of 2017.

Speaking at the launch, CEO, ECDC, Engr Ric Camaligan, stated that the company is channelling plans towards the development of an environmental-friendly set-up, as well as paving the way for green energy with solar panels and wind turbines on the roof decks to lower dependency on the power grid.

According to him, “This investment project by our company is in part, Edmark Group of Companies’ opportunity to re-invest the Nairas from their multi-level marketing (MLM) business under the umbrella of Edmark International (Nigeria).”

Further explaining the company’s intention in Nigeria, Camaligan, explained that, “As a means of its commitment to the country to give back to the people of Nigeria, Edmark remains in the country to continually contribute in infrastructure development and human resources. We see a long and bright future here in Nigeria.”

“The iconic structure in Aromire, Nigeria, targeted to be completed by the end of 2017, is a state-of-the-art and modern International Event Hall which houses an event centre, multiple commercial spaces, and a 6-storey building for offices and showrooms.

“The centre is set to have a 1,200 seating capacity at a time, complete with high-quality audio system and the flexibility of accommodating various types of functions.”

Edmark Group of Companies is a multi-national company having it presence in 26 countries, where 17 are in Africa.

The company first grew as a household name in the Philippines before embarking on their journey into the African continent. Ever since its emergence in Africa 2008, it has expanded by leaps and bounds in the country through its MLM business under the umbrella of Edmark International.

The company further stated that, having done its official groundbreaking ceremony in December 2015, the development is set to progress into its piling processes later in the year.
