Our Generation Foundation( A Non Profit Oriented Christian Organization)  has held the 5th edition of Mathematics is Simple Competition which involves solving maths problems without the use of calculator at Ambassador College, Ota, Ogun state .

After a keen contest amongst 1,026 contestants, Adeyemi Taiwo from Ambassadors College, Ota came first with 171 points. The second position was taken by Ahmed Zainab of Scholars Universal Secondary School with 124 points, while Abdulsalm Aminu from     Ambassadors College, Ota, clinched the 3rd position with 141 points.

Mrs. Gbonjubola Odumusi, the convener admonished the students to be hardworking in their academic and urged students to see the competition as a challenge and motivation to improve themselves.

All the participated schools, winners and best mathematics teachers were awarded with medals,  gifts items, textbooks and cash.

The competition started with about 1,026 students from all five zones; Ado Odo/Ota, Ewekoro, Ifo, Ipokia, Yewa Zones. The finale stage  took place on 13th July, 2016.

at the Ambassadors College Ota, Ogun state.


The grand finale featured five minutes questions, application of mathematics to the  creation of  new cell phones, solving a social problem, picking from the basket and recitation of the  multiplication table.
