LOKOJA — KOGI State Government, yesterday, said it had identified some of the bad eggs among the security operatives in the state colluding with criminals to terrorise residents and vowed to deal with them.

The government revealed this at a security meeting with stakeholders across the state to find solutions to the increasing security challenge, especially allegations that some security personnel were colluding with criminals in the state.

Coordinator of the meeting and Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Jerry Omodara, spoke at the Kogi East Senatorial district meeting held at the palace of Attah Igala, Dr. Michael Idakwo, in Idah, Idah Local Government area.

Speaking, Governor Bello represented by his Special Adviser on Local Govern-ment and Chieftaincy Affairs, Abubakar Ohere, said without adequate security he might not be able to deliver in his promises.

On his part, the Commissioner of Police, Abdullahi Chafe, charged the traditional rulers to always preach peace in their domains.
