CHEVRON Nigeria Limited, CNL, Makaraba line in Warri South West local government area already shutdown by militants attacks in Delta state was reportedly hit by more explosions in the early hours of Friday.

Unknown persons, a source told Vanguard, detonated another explosive on the oil Well 10 on the Makaraba oil line which had been out of use since penultimate Wednesday following insurgent attack on the offshore Okan manifold.

Last week’s succession of damages on the company facility in the locality; Otunana, Abiteye and Makaraba platforms added 40,000 barrels per day loss to the nation’s receding oil output.
