…ahead of tomorrow’s general election of the guild

Asaba, the Delta State capital is currently bubbling with life as members of Directors Guild of Nigeria,DGN, have taken over the city ahead of tomorrow’s general election of the guild.
At the Tourist Resort and Suite, Asaba, where the election is billed to hold tomorrow, politicking and aggressive campaigning are in top gear and moving into even higher gear by tomorrow when the members will file out to elect their new executive that will pilot the affairs of the guild for the next two years.
The aspirants are not giving up their ambition, but the popular opinion here is that the battle for the presidency of the guild is definitely between Lancelot Imasuen and Fred Amata.
Meanwhile, after rendering account of his stewardship about few minutes ago, Mr. Andy Amenechi officially stepped down as the president of the guild, and handed over to Mr Fidelis Duker who is the chairman of the guild’s electoral committee.
Some of the popular faces who are in Asaba for the election include, Ernest Obi, Charls Inojie, Bond Emerewu, Ugezie .J.Ugezie, Dickson Ireogbu who is also contesting for the post of the president of the guild, Charls Awuru, Iyke Odife, among others.
