APC leaders plotting for 2019 are playing god – Oyegun
Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been on the hot seat since his party emerged as the ruling party in Nigeria. Seeing the former Permanent Secretary, last week, at his residence in GRA, Benin-City, you will behold a troubled man. He bared his mind on the leadership crisis in the National Assembly
Buhari: From Washington with dignity by Femi Adesina
It was an official visit that attracted not only national, but also international attention. President Muhammadu Buhari was going to visit the United States of America for four days, on the invitation of President Barack Obama. Was this going to be just another jamboree, or truly an event that would reset the buttons in the relationship between the two countries?
Gowon: Nigeria is better off with Igbos
Nigeria’s wartime leader, Gen Yakubu Gowon, says “Nigeria is better off with Igbos.” He spoke while delivering an oration at the burial service for Chief (Mrs.) Chinyere Asika, wife of the former Sole Administrator of East Central State; just as the governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, described the deceased as a woman who exemplified the virtue of patience, charity and humility. The service took place at the All Saints Anglican Cathedral, Onitsha, Anambra State.
Who steals Nigeria’s crude oil? – 2
I was not surprised because the revelation only confirmed what I had written as far back as July 2013 on these pages titled WHO STEALS NIGERIA’S CRUDE OIL? Below is the 2013 article; and when you finish, if you are honest, you should send me a bottle of GULDER for pin-point accuracy on deduction and prediction. Now we are beginning to understand why the problem of crude theft was not solved, and would never have been solved if Jonathan was still in charge. Otherwise, how could a President who started work two months ago solve a “puzzle” which GEJ could not in five years? Expect more revelations from me on oil theft later.

For God’s sake, leave me with my porn-lifestyle, Afrocandy tells preachers
Somebody once described Judith Mazagwu, popularly known as Afrocandy, as ‘a loaded gun’, but since I have come to know her, that ‘gun’ has hardly gone off. But it seems some people are getting on her nerves these days which might very well lead to that her ‘gun’ going off soon. And they are people who don’t usually run with the self-styled porn star. They are preachers!
$2bn Bailout Fallout: Buhari didn’t dash us money, says Gov. Dave Umahi
Yesterday: “I must say that this historic development (Tambuwal’s defection to APC with Speakership) means that our democracy is growing by the day and it is dynamic…. We think that having the head of the legislature from the opposition party makes for a balanced setting in government and it’s good for democracy” APC National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed (Thisday, October 29, 2014)
