In Vanguard Newspaper publication of Friday May 15, 2015, we published a news story captioned “Controversy trails Aregbesola’s son’s alleged arrest,” where we reported, among other things, that a source insisted that the Governor’s son, Kabiru, was actually arrested.

We have since found out that the source was not accurate and that the Governor’s son was not and never arrested. We, therefore, retract the story and apologise to Kabiru Aregbesola, the government of State of Osun and the Governor for the embarrassment the report may have occasioned them.

Once again, accept our apology.
