As a way to douse the controversy trailing the endorsement by the apex governing body of Urhobo people, the Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, of Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru of the Labour Party as their consensus candidate for the March 28th, 2015 governorship election in the Delta State, UPU has finally cleared the air, giving reasons for the endorsement, saying it was done in good faith and for the overall interest and benefit of the Urhobo people.
