Dutse—Residents of Hadejia in Jigawa State yesterday commended the Federal Government over the introduction of Kerosene-Direct scheme.
The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports that the NNPC retail stations in Hadejia had kicked off sales of kerosene under the scheme.
The Kerosene-Direct scheme was designed to end scarcity and enhance availability of the product in the communities.
A cross-section of the residents, who spoke to NAN in Hadejia, described the scheme as ‘commendable’.
Alhaji Muhammad Garba, a resident, said that the scheme would reduce difficulties experienced by consumers in accessing the product.
