ABUJA—SENATOR representing Delta Central, Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, weekend said he was still waiting for his people to direct him on what to do in 2015, insisting that his the people will  direct him on whether to re-contest the Senatorial election or another office in the 2015 general election.

Speaking  in Abuja Aguariavwodo said: “I will do whatever my people want me to do, for now, they have not said anything.”

He insisted that contrary to insinuation that he would not return to the Senate , since his emergence was merely aimed at completing the tenure of late Senator Pius Ewherido, Senator Aguariavwodo noted that “there is no zoning in my place, we are the same people and the same ethnic group. So, there is no zoning of any sort. You can come from anywhere, so the issue of rotation does not arise that somebody should be barred on that basis.”

Aguariavwodo, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Privatisation, said unless the Ajaokuta and Delta steel companies were revitalized, the nation’s hope of having 100 percent made in Nigeria cars in no distant time would be a mere dream.
