The First Vice President of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, NIESV, Pastor  Ajayi Patunola has thrown his weight behind the South-West integration programme, saying the programme would develop and boost all sectors of the economy of member states.

Dr. Patunola who is the Managing Partner of J. Ajayi Patunola & Co, a firm of estate surveyors and valuers, added that the initiative will not only boost the practice of real estate business in the region, it will also help to generate employment.

The NIESV 1st VP  who stated these at the 25th anniversary of his practice as an estate surveyor and valuer,  emphasised the need for training and retraining of estate surveyors in order to remain relevant in the modern day business trends.

Patunola who pointed out, that lack of reading remains a major challenge to professionals in the country, noted that real estate market has become very huge because of diversification.

Patunola who started his firm in 1989 with a handful of staff, now has a staff strength of 100 and nine branches across Nigeria.
