LAGOS — Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, will today present a budget proposal for the 2014 fiscal year to the state House of Assembly for consideration and eventual ratification.

The budget estimate, which is still being kept secret, is expected to exceed the this year of N497.277 billion which showed a slight increase of 1.08 percent over that of 2012 of N485.3 billion.

Expected at the presentation are; the former governors of Lagos state, leaders of All Progressives Congress, APC, National Assembly members representing the state, State Executive Council members, council chairmen, traditional leaders, market men among other  party supporters as well as other concerned citizens and groups.
