Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Kenya, Ambassador Akin Oyateru will today host the Super Eagles at the Nigeria House in Nairobi.
“I want the team to rest after such a positive performance that earned us victory over Kenya on Wednesday. But I have concluded plans to host the entire delegation on Thursday evening,” said Ambassador Oyateru.
The top diplomat and his mission staff, who have given the Nigeria Football Federation good support in planning for the Super Eagles’ comfortable stay in the Kenyan capital, were at the Moi International Sports Centre to cheer the African champions.
Ambassador Oyateur added: “We are very happy with the Super Eagles’ performance, and this goes to show that their victory at the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa was no fluke. I believe they will win in Namibia and go ahead to qualify for the 2014 World Cup finals.”
